Mandelieu celebrates its emblematic flower, creating a variety of decorations in late afternoon parades, fanfares and flower parades from 15 to february 24, 2008

Mimosa Road Kilometre 108, Mandelieu-La Napoule is one of eight stages of charm classified among the most beautiful sites of Côte d'Azur which met to propose to the visitors a 130 km circuit without constraint and at the rate of each .
It is a route which will make you discover, between the Var and the Maritime Alps , all the aspects of the mimosa. A calendar redraws the strong moments proposed by every town on a subject which gathers us all, the mimosa.
In Mandelieu-La Napoule, not to miss during all the period of bloom, from January till March, the hikes in the biggest forest of mimosa of Europe and the excursions commented in bus on the meeting of “mimosists”. Attend the hatching of the mimosa in a greenhouse of the Tanneron Massif as well as the visit of a perfume shop in Grasse .
The edition 2005 had already innovated by declining all along the Mimosa road some propositions of stays from January till March and escapades the time of a weekend during the various parades and the battles of mimosa. In 2006, the pad of the Mimosa road also opens to our foreign visitors with an edition in English language which is especially reserved for them.

Midem Cote d'Azur, Cannes, 2008
La Chine organisera la prestigieuse fête d’ouverture du Midem, le 27 janvier 2008, à l’hôtel Martinez de Cannes. Cette soirée, organisée en collaboration avec le Ministère de la Culture chinois, présentera des artistes chinois.
“Nous sommes ravis d’être à l’honneur de la 42ème édition du Midem et de pouvoir mettre notre pays en lumière et de pouvoir en donner les clefs aux professionnels présents” a déclaré Dominique Leguern, directrice du Midem.
“Les consommateurs chinois montrent un intérêt grandissant à la musique délivrée par les nouvelles technologies mobiles et son potentiel de croissance en Chine est énorme” à ajouté Dominique Leguern.
“Le Midem permettra non seulement à nos visiteurs de comprendre le marché chinois et leur permettront de prendre des contacts professionnels, mais aussi de découvrir le meilleur de la scène artistique chinoise”
